Mark Dombroski, 19 years old student has been reported missing in Bermuda while on a rugby team tour to the British Island territory.
According to Newsweek, Mark is a freshman at St. Joseph’s University in Philadelphia and was visiting Bermuda to take part in Ariel Re Bermuda International 7’s Tournament. Since then, he has not been seen.
Mark was last seen at about 1 am Sunday night at the Dog House, a bar in the Hamilton on March 18. According to police, the reported boy is described as a white male, 6 feet tall with short blonde hair. He was last seen wearing khaki pants, green t-shirt and black shoes. His disappearance came after he was supposed to leave the island on Sunday with the rest of the team.
Bermuda’s news site said Mark’s parents had been in Bermuda since Thursday to attend the rugby tournament and is remained on the island to help the investigation. His two brothers were flying to Bermuda Monday.
Bermuda Police released the statement saying: “The appeal continues regarding missing American visitor 19-year-old Mark Dombroski. He is still missing and there is concern for his wellbeing.All incidents are under investigation. Police are appealing to members of the public who have witnessed these incidents or may have information pertaining to them to contact their respective Police Station”.
As soon as news of his disappearance spread, St Joseph’s University also released the statement saying: “Saint Joseph’s University is in touch with Mark’s family and Bermuda authorities and continues to pray for his safe return”.
