Steven Pladl who is the resident of Knightdale, North Carolina has been arrested with Katie Pladl and charged with incest with adult, adultery, contributing to delinquency.
Katie who was born in January 1998 was adopted out of state after she was born. After she turned 18 years old, she tracked her biological parents using social media platforms. Shortly, after she moved with her biological parents in Virginia she began to live with their two other children.
After some months, Steven and his wife legally separated and according to his wife, she said that Steven had been sleeping on the floor of Katie’s bedroom. The ex-wife, told authorities that she found Katie pregnant last may after reading one of her daughter’s journal.
Steven’s ex-wife then contacted her husband and asked if he had impregnated Katie. He admitted that the baby was his and said they planned to get married.
Authorities said that there was a baby boy when they were arrested. It was found that the baby was born in September 2017. Arrest warrants were issued in November 2017 and they were arrested at Knightdale home in January 2018.
Both of them were each issued a $1 million bond. Steven bonded out of jail but Katie is still behind the bars.
